In the Amed area there are quite a few different beaches, both sandy and covered with pebbles. It is certainly necessary to drive along the coast and since it is the best way to find many places perfect for swimming and sunbathing. Keep in mind that during the rainy season, the ocean here can be not so calm, so it is better to the swim or snorkel from the early morning up to 10-11 am. Water on here is clean and clear, the reefs are located in close proximity to the coast, so you do not even have to hire a boat for snorkeling. Naturally, Amed has great underwater world and therefore you can find a lot of dive centers around.
