A lot of cheap bars are concentrated along Poppies Lane 1 and 2, here you will always find a place with inexpensive beer and nice company of travelers. People here are starting to gather somewhere around 9 pm and warming up before the upcoming night madness.
Another place where you can find lots of pubs is the area where all nightclubs in Kuta are located. You can have fun here until Mbargo and Bounty open.
If you prefer to relax in bars of a higher class, then you should visit one of the lounge bars located along the beach of Kuta.
In case you like sport bars you should look into the Stadium Sport Café, the famous and always crowded place situated on Jalan Kartika Plaza.
