Throughout Indonesia alcoholic drinks are subject to very high taxes so prices for alcohol in supermarkets tend to be pretty high. However, prices for cocktails and shots in the bars seem to be acceptable by European standards. The price for cocktails and spirits in bars and restaurants are around 50-100 thousand Indonesian rupiah. Prices for wine, respectively, quite high so in the restaurant you will pay around 150,000+ rupiahs for a bottle of local wine, and from 300 000 for a bottle of Australian and European wine. The situation with beer is better and the prices at restaurants and bars are ranging from 25 to 40 thousand rupiahs for a 620ml bottle.
