Roads in Bali
Condition of roads in Bali can be very different ranging from the quite well recently constructed or renovated ones to completely broken narrow mountain roads. Even on a decent track, you can suddenly get into a hole, so be prepared for this. A positive aspect is that almost all roads have direction signs, so if you know the names of towns located in the direction where you want get to, you will hardly get lost. So just look at the map, remember what cities are on your path and follow the signs. In larger towns you can often find one-way roads and especially there are lots of them in Denpasar, so watch for the signs when you travel around Bali.
