Traffic jams in Bali
In the past few years, traffic jams became a major issue in Bali. Together with increasing tourist crowds and Indonesians migrating from other parts of the country the number of cars has skyrocketed. Because of the narrow roads, large number of parked cars and frequent repairs of roads you can expect many hours traffic jams in some areas. Basically, the traffic jams can be encountered in areas of Kuta, Legian, Seminyak, in the city of Denpasar and on the road to Nusa Dua. In other parts of Bali’s there are some difficulties on the roads but only because of slow trucks and buses, which are often impossible to overtake because of the narrow roads.
